For 15 years, Sean Elliott, former member of the Steve Daru Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson and NBA Basketball star with the San Antonio Spurs, returned to his hometown to host this special event for Boys & Girls Clubs of Tucson.

This is the second year with MIKE STOOPS, Head Football Coach for the University of Arizona Wildcats as host as we again celebrate and honor those club members named "Youth of the Year" for their club.

The purpose of the evening was to introduce the Boy and Girl of the Year for each Clubhouse and to announce the teen named Youth of the Year.

Over 120 club members selected for their service to their club and community were seated with adult guests and community leaders. On this night "roles" were reversed. The honored youth received steaks and the adults and guests hamburgers. Some trading of meals take place.

Raffle prizes were given away throughout the evening. Close to 700 people attended the event this summer.
